Hassina Khan is a practising glass artist of dual heritage based in Suffolk. She recently achieved an MA (with Distinction) in Glass, from the University of Sunderland based at the National Glass Centre. Her work ‘Hybridity. Do not ask’ is held in the permanent collection at Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens.
Alongside this she works as a freelancer, developing and delivering cultural education projects. She has been working at the interface between arts and learning for more than 30 years and has worked for a broad spectrum of organisations including the New Wolsey Theatre, Watford Palace Theatre, the Royal Opera House, Essex Music Service, Arts Council England, Creative Partnerships and the Crafts Council.
